The Affiliate Program

Visitation House at Franciscan University of Steubenville is part of the Affiliate Program sponsored by the Franciscan Friars, Third Order Regular Province of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, commonly referred to as the Franciscans, T.O.R.

Not to be confused with the initial stages of formation of religious life, (postulancy and novitiate), the Affiliate Program is for men who are interested in a vocation as a religious Brother or Priest with the Franciscan, T.O.R. community.

Through their common sharing in prayer, some meals, and a loosely structured communal life, the men living at Visitation House are able to continue their discernment in an informal way with the friars as they continue to pursue their educational degrees.
